Canada’s Northern most Mining trade sho

Established in 1986, the Dawson City International Gold Show—held on the Friday and Saturday of the long-weekend in May—is a signature event that signals the start of the summer season in Dawson City, Yukon. Unlike typical trade shows, our event unfolds in the vibrant setting of the Art and Margaret Fry Arena and along the dirt streets that form the bustling heart of our community.

This annual gathering is not just about doing business; it's a place where industry professionals, tourists, and local entrepreneurs come together to foster old relationships and forge new ones. Participants include placer and hard rock miners, associated industry partners and organizations, as well as a broad spectrum of businesses from across Yukon, NWT, British Columbia, Alberta, and Alaska,

As our primary fundraising event, the Gold Show plays a crucial role in supporting economic development initiatives in our region throughout the year.

Though it changes from year-to-year, the Gold Show generally features a dynamic mix of indoor and outdoor exhibits, a networking event, industry talks, family-friendly activities, and live demonstrations—making for a jam-packed weekend of fun!

For 2026, the Dawson City Gold Show will take place on May 15th and 16th. This year is particularly special as we celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Dawson City Gold Show.

We invite you to join us as an exhibitor, sponsor, and/or visitor, for your opportunity to be part of a long-standing tradition that celebrates the spirit of the North and the thriving community of Dawson City.

For our 40th anniversary, the Gold Show will also be held in a brand new location: the Gold Rush Campground, providing expanded outdoor exhibition space and new opportunities for exhibitors, equipment displays, and programming.
