The Dawson City Chamber of Commerce is launching a new storytelling campaign to celebrate the people behind Dawson’s local businesses. And, if you are a DCCC Member, participation is FREE! 

The campaign will feature professional, stylized photos of business owners in their own spaces, paired with short interviews that share the story behind the business: how it began, what it takes to run, how it contributes to Dawson, and what its future could look like.

The goal is threefold: to create meaningful exposure for your business and for Dawson; to provide you with professional photos you can use for your own marketing and succession planning; and to capture the stories of the people, places, and local knowledge that shape Dawson’s business community.

Participating businesses will be featured on the Dawson Chamber’s social media channels and website, with the possibility of additional promotion through partner channels such as @VisitDawsonCity, the Klondike Sun, and CFYT 106.9 FM.

Participants will also receive digital copies of professional photos of themselves and their business, which can be used for marketing or future business planning.

Whether you are just getting started, have been operating for years, or are thinking about what succession could look like someday, this campaign is designed to help capture the value of what you have built. The interview will explore the story, personality, hard work, local knowledge, and community contribution behind your business.

These stories matter. They help celebrate Dawson’s local economy today, while also documenting the people and businesses that are part of this community’s history.
